Greetings everyone! I have a severe problem about math and I was hoping that someone might be able to help me out in some way . I have a algebra test in a short while and even though I have been taking math seriously, there are still a some parts that cause a lot of problems , such as can you find the square root with a regular calculator and adding functions especially. Last week I had a session with a math teacher, but many things still remain vague to me. Can you propose a good method of studying or a good tutor that you know already?

Hello Friend What’s up. Well I’ve been reading your post and believe me : I had the same problem . Some time ago I was in the same problem, but before you get a teacher , I will like to recommend you one software that’s very good : Algebrator. I really tried a lot of other ways but that one it’s definitely the best one ! The best luck with that! Let me know what you think!.

Algebrator beyond doubt is a great piece of math software. I remember having problems with greatest common factor, exponential equations and trigonometric functions. By typing in the problem from workbook and merely clicking Solve would give step by step solution to the math problem. It has been of great help through several College Algebra, Pre Algebra and College Algebra. I seriously recommend the program.

All, Thanks a lot for the responses that you have given . I just had a look at the Algebrator available at: http://www.mathmatik.com/adding-and-subtracting-fractions-and-mixed-numbers.html. The interesting part that I liked was the pay back guarantee that they are offering there. I went ahead and purchased Algebrator. It is really user friendly and turns up to be a remarkable tool for Intermediate algebra.

Check out at the lessons available at http://www.mathmatik.com/major-topics-of-the-algebra.html. You have abundant information on Pre Algebra, particularly on midpoint of a line, sum of cubes and logarithms. Good luck!

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several algebra classes - Pre Algebra, Remedial Algebra and Pre Algebra. It is a really a great piece of algebra software. I remember of going through difficulties with monomials, logarithms and like denominators. I would simply type in a problem from the workbook , click on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework. I highly recommend the program.
