Posted: Thursday 02nd of Aug 07:01 Hi math wizards! I am about two weeks through the semester, and getting a bit worried about my course work. I just don’t seem to get the stuff I am learning, especially things to do with math ratio tutorials. Could somebody out there please enlighten me with fractional exponents, relations and ratios. I can’t afford to pay for a tutor, but if anyone knows about other ways of understanding topics like simplifying expressions or rational inequalities painlessly , please drop me a line Thanks heaps

Posted: Friday 03rd of Aug 07:43 It always feels nice when I hear that students are willing to put that extra punch into their education . math ratio tutorials is not a very difficult topic and you can easily do some initial preparation yourself. As a helping tool, I would suggest that you get a copy of Algebrator. This tool is quite handy when doing math yourself.

Posted: Sunday 05th of Aug 07:12 Thanks for the suggestion . Algebrator is really a pretty good algebra software. I was able to get answers to queries I had about distance of points, radical equations and trigonometric functions. You simply type in a problem, click on Solve and you get the all the solutions you need. You can use it for so many , like Pre Algebra, Basic Math and College Algebra. I am really happy with Algebrator.

Posted: Tuesday 07th of Aug 08:47 Please do not take me wrong. I am searching for no shortcut. It’s just that I don’t seem to get enough time to try solving questions again and again. I will use the software as a reference only. Where can I find it?

Posted: Tuesday 07th of Aug 11:50 I remember having difficulties with complex fractions, gcf and graphing circles. Algebrator is a really great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several math classes - Basic Math, Intermediate algebra and Pre Algebra. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
