solving for variables

I've always wanted to excel in solving for variables, it seems like there's a lot that can be done with it that I can't do otherwise. I've browsed the internet for some good learning tools , and checked the local library for some books, but all the information seems to be directed to people who already know the subject. Is there any tool that can help new students as well?

Your story sounds familiar to me. Although I was good in math for several years, when I began Pre Algebra there were a lot of math topics that seemed so complicated . I remember I got a very bad mark when I took the exam on solving for variables. Now I don't have this issue anymore, I can solve anything quite easily , even perpendicular lines and trigonometry. I was smart that I didn't spend my money on a teacher , because I heard of Algebrator from a friend . I have been using it since then whenever I found something hard .

I completely agree with that. It truly is a great software . Algebrator helped me and my peers a lot during our exam time. We went on to get a better grade than we could ever have thought of. It explains things in a lot more detailed manner, than a instructor ever could, in a class. Moreover, you can read one solution again and again till you actually understand it, unlike in a classroom where the teacher has to move on due to time constraints. Go ahead and try it.
