solving intercepts in algebra

Can someone help me with my homework questions ? Most of them are based on solving intercepts in algebra. I have read a some sample questions on complex fractions and rational expressions but that didn’t go a long way helping me in solving the questions on my homework . I didn’t sleep last night since I have to turn in pretty soon. But the problem is no matter how much time I put in, I just don’t seem to be getting the hang of it. Every question poses a new problem , one which seems to be tougher than conquering Mt.Everest! I need some help right away . Somebody please guide me.

I remember having problems with difference of squares, greatest common factor and function range. Algebrator is a truly great piece of math software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Algebra 2, Remedial Algebra and Remedial Algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
