step by step quadradic equations and prealgebra

I have a couple of problems based on step by step quadradic equations and prealgebra I have tried a lot to solve them myself but in vain. Our professor has asked us to solve them out ourselves and then explain them to the whole class. I fear that I will be chosen to do so. Please guide me!

Haha! absences are bothersome especially when you missed an important topic like step by step quadradic equations and prealgebra that is really quite complex . Have you tried using Algebrator before?
